TAt sea going downwind. The rigging was very versatile. The short mast had no spreaders and the rigging was Dynema ropes tied to strong points by knots. The knots used back turns that way they were easily undone even after having had a lot of force on them.
Here the boom is out more than 90° doing away with the risk gybing and making the boat course stable.
